Born and educated in Paris, France, ceramic artist Francoise Han moved to the US in 1971. She then decided to put aside her law degree to pursue art studies in textiles and printmaking.

After many years as a successful antiquarian print dealer, Francoise rediscovered her love of creating art and began working with clay. From the first days, working in the pottery studio became a full time passionate adventure.

Francoise focuses on creating porcelain pieces which are both functional and artistically pleasing. Using different surface decoration techniques like hand painting, Sgraffito or slip trailing, each pot is original in its design and made to bring a little artful flavor to her customers’ home.
